My training with Heidi really helped me connect to my emotions and the abilities they have to influence a horse. She took me step by step showing me how to much tension can cause a horse to want to pull away and how the release and gentle

 approach is what creates the trust between rider and horse. Using our emotions we can communicate to the horse what we would like whether it is to draw them in or for them to keep their distance.
